Code of Conduct
At Credence, we strive to maintain a professional, respectful, and open environment for all users. Our Code of Conduct outlines expectations for behavior on the platform and helps ensure Credence remains a space for real work, real ideas, and real people.
1. Respect & Professionalism
- Treat all users with dignity and respect—regardless of background, experience, profession, or beliefs.
- Constructive criticism and differing opinions are encouraged. Harassment, personal attacks, or bullying are not.
- Do not impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or falsify your background.
2. Prohibited Content
- Do not post, share, or promote illegal activities, including but not limited to drug use, violence, or criminal behavior.
- Nudity, sexually explicit content, or sexually suggestive material is not allowed.
- Content intended to shock, intimidate, or provoke users is not permitted.
3. Free Speech, Within Reason
Credence values open expression and free exchange of ideas. We do not censor based on opinion—but that freedom comes with the responsibility to express yourself constructively. Hate speech, threats, incitement to violence, and targeted harassment are not tolerated.
4. Media & Uploads
- Only post images or videos you own the rights to, or that you have clear permission to use.
- Do not upload or share media that violates the privacy or safety of others.
- Credence is not a platform for shock content or graphic material. Keep it professional.
5. Platform Integrity
- Do not attempt to exploit, disrupt, or misuse the platform in any way.
- Spamming, scraping, or automating actions without explicit permission is prohibited.
- Report issues, bugs, or abuse responsibly via our support channel.
6. Enforcement
- Credence reserves the right to moderate, restrict, or remove content or users that violate this Code of Conduct.
- Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion, and may result in warnings, content removal, or permanent account bans.
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it through the appropriate in-platform tools or contact us directly. We take every report seriously.
